Colloquium Chamaco y el novísimo teatro cubano. University of Miami, The Learning Center, October 2009. Organized by Dr. Lillian Manzor. With the assistance of Dr. Uva de Aragon (Florida International University) With playwright Abel González Melo, theater director Alberto Sarraín, scholar and translator Yael Prizant, editor and theater critic Omar Valiño, theater critic Maité Hernández, moderators Dinorah Pérez Rementería and Eva Silot. (Attendance: 60 people).

SPRING 2010

Protagonistas de los 60 en el teatro cubano. Cuban Heritage Collection at the University of Miami, March 2010.  Organized by Dr. Lillian Manzor (University of Miami). With the assistance of Dr. Uva de Aragon (Florida International University). With Cuba’s most important living playwrights and stage designers from the 1960s: Antón Arrufat, Abelardo Estorino, Jesús Ruiz, Eduardo Arrocha, Matías Montes Huidobro, Eduardo Manet, and Rafael Mirabal. The first time that these playwrights had come together since 1961. Videostreamed live (Attendance: 150 people live).

Protagonists of the 60s. Cuban Heritage Collection at the University of Miami, (March – September 2010).  Exhibit curated by Dr. Lillian Manzor and Dinorah Pérez Rementería (Perez Rementería was a MALAS student).
